Dos minutos al día vencen a una hora el domingo: cómo mejorar realmente tu pronunciación

La pronunciación es una habilidad motora, como un deporte. Las repeticiones cortas diarias cambian cómo se mueve tu boca; las sesiones largas semanales, en su mayoría, no lo hacen.

Many learners study pronunciation the way they study grammar: a long session once a week, lots of rules, then nothing until next Sunday. It feels productive, and it barely works.

Pronunciation is not knowledge. It is a motor skill — closer to playing an instrument or a sport than to memorising vocabulary. Your tongue, lips and jaw need to learn new movements until they happen without thinking.

Por qué lo corto y diario gana

Motor skills are built by repetición frecuente con retroalimentación, and they are consolidated while you sleep. Two minutes every day gives your brain seven chances a week to lock the new movement in. One hour on Sunday gives it one.

Diez repeticiones correctas hoy y diez mañana hacen más que cien de una sola vez.

Cómo es una buena sesión de dos minutos

  1. Un sonido objetivo. No cinco. Hoy es TH, o la schwa, o L y R.
  2. Escucha primero. Hear a native model of a short phrase.
  3. Dilo y recibe retroalimentación. Not “good job”, but which sound was off.
  4. Repite solo lo que falló. Do not re-read the parts you already said well.
  5. Detente mientras aún se siente fácil. Tomorrow you will come back.

La retroalimentación es la parte que la mayoría de la gente omite

Recording yourself on your phone helps, but you mostly hear what you meant to say. That is why learners can practise a wrong sound for years. You need something that tells you, sound by sound, what actually came out.

Objetivos diarios, rachas y los niveles de Murzik mantienen el hábito

That is what HolosAccent was built for: read a phrase, get every sound scored in a few seconds, and see exactly which one to fix. A daily goal and a streak keep you coming back — and Murzik the cat levels up with you, from a sleepy kitten to a near-native.

Empieza hoy

Pick one sound you know you struggle with. Practise it for two minutes. Do it again tomorrow. In two weeks, listen to your first recording — the difference is usually obvious.

HolosAccent

Hear the difference. Fix it in two minutes a day.

Read a phrase out loud and HolosAccent scores every sound — then shows exactly which one to fix. Murzik grows with you.
